Week 5: Pilot review

Weeks 6–10: Production deployment

How much does a typical project cost?
Pilot projects start at around £4,000 for a simple predictive model built on structured data. Deep-learning projects with custom training data usually fall between £12,000 and £30,000. We quote fixed prices after the discovery visit, so there are no surprise invoices.
Do we need a data scientist on staff?
No. We train one person on your team to monitor the dashboard and flag issues. If something needs model-level attention, our support contract covers it.
What happens to our data?
Your data stays in the UK. We use Azure UK South or on-premises servers depending on your preference. We never use client data to train models for other clients, and we sign a data processing agreement before any data leaves your systems.
Can you work with our existing IT provider?
Yes. We regularly collaborate with managed service providers and internal IT teams. We document our infrastructure requirements clearly so your IT contact can review and approve everything before deployment.
What if the AI doesn't work?
The pilot phase exists specifically to test this. If the model doesn't meet the success metric we agreed on during discovery, you pay nothing for the pilot. We've walked away from two projects in the last year because the data simply wasn't sufficient, and both clients appreciated the honesty.
